Fandoms:
My "main" fandom changes on almost a day to day basis. Right now I'm into Disney movies. But I also like Voltron, Overwatch, Gravity Falls, Star Wars, How to Train Your Dragon, Back to the Future, My Chemical Romance, The Phantom of the Opera, Jhonen Vasquez stuff (particularly JtHM), Tim Burton stuff (especially Beetlejuice and his adaption of Sweeney Todd), Titanic (yes, the 1997 romantic drama), and pretty much any animated movie out there. I also really like vampires and pirates, though not together lol. I've been playing The Sims since 2004 and mainly play Sims 3.

Ships:
I tend to gravitate towards "problematic" ships (both ships that are actually problematic and healthy ships that are erroneously labeled problematic because of ship wars) I really wish there was a way to make separate blog pages on Dreamwidth so I could just make a shipping page. Until then, I have a list on my sticky post!

What content I post:
WIPs mainly, and abandoned fics I'm no longer interested in working on. Also tiny, 100 word fics that are too short for me to put on AO3. I'll probably post screenshots from my sims games, too. I rarely draw anymore but if I do, I'll post sketches here.

My fandoms: Primarily Yuri on Ice. I'm also into Critical Role, Discworld, video games (mostly action-adventure and RPG, recents include FFXV and the Yakuza series, forever faves are Zelda, Ace Attorney, and Persona 3-5), and the anime of my teens and 20s, especially Gundam Wing and Ouran. I have strong favorite ships but can enjoy virtually anything if I dig the execution.

I've followed figure skating for pretty much my whole life, but for some reason it never occurred to me until the last few years that skating fandom would be online outside of program video uploads. Livestreams? Are a thing? While this means I've avoided the cesspits over the years, from GS to rabid Youtube accounts, it also means I'm making up for lost time by watching all the things now.

What kind of content I post: I guess we'll find out, huh? I haven't done LJ-style blogging in at least a decade. The plans are mostly fandom and fanworks, some personal. Figure skating competition liveblogs are a strong possibility. Trying to limit my salt intake/output, so tone ought to stay neutral (or at least constructive) to positive across the board. This account has been my meta/translation repository until now, but you can look at my "preserved from tumblr" tag of crossposts to get a feel for what else I'm likely to say.

Access/commenting policies: Fandom stuff is all public for the foreseeable future, personal may be f-locked and filtered as necessary. Comments are always welcome under a general Don't Be a Dick policy. (Un)Subscribing and granting/revoking access are, of course, at my discretion.

What Kind of Content I Post: Fanfiction, snippits of original stuff, eventually my first novel for alpha reading to tear it up and bring it back stronger, and then also the obligatory "holy crap, it has been forever since I posted" post.

Fanfiction wise, I like action, secondary romances, and a lot of found family. Canon Divergence AUs are super my thing. I also write a lot of LGBTQ+ themes. Original wise, scifi/fantasy all the way with various themes including personhood, first contact, social commentary, and war.

Access/Commenting Policies: Fanfiction is freely accessible to anyone. Original stuff access is through request/invitation. Comments aren't screened and can be anonymous as far as I know. If it's spam or something, I'll try to get rid of it.

Anything Else?: Look, I'm a forgetful guy. There will probably be long stretches of time where I don't post anything or keep up with my communities (I wasn't great at that on livejournal either, back in the day.) My fandoms: Star Wars - just a total Hux stan, but also of old a Qui-Gon Jinn stan. Also Everett Young from Stargate SGU, Tolkien fandom (with a focus on Celeborn), PotC, Norrington, and various others in passing. I'm a One True Character person - I focus on one character and multi-ship them and/or enjoy meta and gen fic about them.

What kind of content I post - it's likely to be a mess of personal and fannish stuff. My personal stuff tends to be morris dancing, writing, trans and ace stuff and the perils of being an indie-published author. Fannish stuff tends to be meta at the moment because the aforesaid original writing gets in the way of writing fanfic.

Commenting policies - I am open to discussion about almost everything. BUT I am not open to discussion on whether trans or ace identities are real things. My son is trans, I am ace, I do not want to hear your theories about the validity of my lived experience. (I say this because in the past I have been open to discussion about these things too. Anything else?: I've recently started learning Japanese ahead of a big 6 week+ trip I have planned out there in 2020 so that I can get around more easily, and would really like to be able to practice by chatting to somebody.

My fandoms: Varying between Dragon Age, The Borgias (2011), Harry Potter, Labyrinth, Rurouni Kenshin, and the Netflix MCU. I also occasionally dabble in Mass Effect, and used to hang out in Teen Wolf.

What kind of content I post: On my personal journal, I tend to post snippets/fragments of WIPs, fandom thoughts, funny fandom-related conversations I've had, and the occasional real life update. I may start posting fic back up on my fic journal.
