Steve?Bucky soulmates is canon. Romance and sex specifically might not be, but they're clearly the most important people in each other's lives. They should get married already. *smushes action figures together, making kissy sounds*

It really is! If one of them were a woman, they would've been canon from day one... though that just would've given Marvel the chance to screw things up with a bad love triangle, and Peggy Carter deserves much better than that.

Really, I don't trust Marvel with ANY romance. I mean, is there a timeline where Steve/Sharon ISN'T creepy? "Well, I can't have the woman I loved, so I'll settle for her niece." EW EW EW

Hey, for both of you, Stucky is one of the pairings that actually has some great comms already here. I'm hoping the influx of users will generate some energy and break off the cobwebs.

I made a masterlist, so maybe check that out and see if there are any communities that interest you? They aren't all super active, but I didn't list any that hadn't been updated in over two years, so most of them should be salvageable and many of them are very active.

Ooh, thank you! I need to go poke around and get a feel for things, once I get the puppy to settle down. She's VERY EXCITED at the moment, because she's a puppy.

Oh man I have a border collie I know that feeling. In fact it's almost ball time now....>.>

If you've got a fenced yard, the breeder gave us an awesome tip for tiring the puppy without killing ourselves:

First, get a lunge whip (for horses). I prefer synthetic over leather, since leather encourages chewing. Make sure the pole is carbon fiber or fiberglass, so it's strong and flexible.

Then, unstuff any stuffed toy and remove the squeakers*. The breeder uses plastic grocery bags, which she lets her dogs shred.

Whatever you pick, tie it to the end of the lunge whip. Paracord is great for this.

Instant dog flirt pole that you can use for running/lure coursing and playing tug-of-war, and it's far more durable than the cheap ones made for dogs.

We also got a carriage whip that's about 5' long so we can play with her in the living room if it's rainy or muddy out.

* Squeakers are great fun until they get chewed out and swallowed. Then they turn into a $6000 visit to the emergency vet for abdominal surgery. :(
