true crime!! supernatural is neat because it's always fun to watch ryan be scared, but the true crime episodes are often funnier and have more Weird History Facts

omfg okay so. the last time vampire weekend was on tour, back in the jurassic period, i was at their show with a friend waiting for the opener to come on when we overheard some girls around us talking about how the guy in front of us looked just like michael cera. so we started making arrested development references. thanks to a combination of caffeine, dayquil, and sleep deprivation, i was feeling pretty bold, so when the guy in front of us and his girlfriend turned around to tell us to knock it off i said "haha okay, sorry mr. manager." months later i saw a picture of michael cera hanging out with vampire weekend in chicago after the show i went to (because rostam composed the score for a play he was in and that's why cera was in town) and that's when i Realized that i had been rude to michael cera to his face and i'll never be able to apologize

yeah, i love the true crime stuff. i think my favorite episode overall though was when they tried to find that old rich guy's treasure. did you see that one? where the treasure was PROBABLY just 'getting out in the wilderness with friends?'
