My fandoms: My main active fandom as far as creating fanworks is The World Ends With You. Some other fandoms I read/watch/play and love include Discworld, Good Omens, The Wicked and the Divine, the MCU, Utena, and the Portal games. Lots of other things too, but those are kind of the “permanently pinned to the top of the list” items.

What kind of content I post: Still getting moved in here, but I suspect it’ll primarily be (mainly TWEWY) fanfics, headcanons, and fannish ramblings, interspersed with occasional thoughts on whatever I’m reading, watching, playing, learning, or attempting to write at the moment.

Access/commenting policies: Fannish stuff will all be public, at least for the foreseeable future. More personal stuff may be friends only, depending on content.

Anything else?: Content-wise, I tend to lean slightly more towards darkish, angsty, and/or morally complicated & ambiguous than I do towards light and fluffy; to borrow a line that Kieron Gillen used to describe The Wicked and the Divine, I am a big fan of stories “about problematic people doing problematic things.” I am personally unlikely to post much NSFW stuff (if I do it’ll be appropriately tagged/warned/cut/etc), but I’m good with reading it and I am firmly in camps ship-and-let-ship & YKINMKATO.

In other news, I used to really love LJ-style RP so I may be jumping back into that a bit once I get settled in. I may have already started remaking my old Joshua Kiryu journal, so if for some reason you ever want an utterly appalling manipulative bastard to RP against, please feel free to hit me up.

That's a good line of Gillen's. And it's always nice to meet someone who uses "Discworld" and "morally complicated & ambiguous content" in the same sentence. You seem to have the right stuff.

Haha, thanks. I don't know about the right stuff, but I've got... some kind of stuff, for sure. And heh, I did wonder a bit if people would blink at me saying "Discworld" and "morally complicated" in one breath, but--yeah. Pratchett's willingness to let things and people be very simple and very complex at the same time had a pretty big impact on me growing up; he's one of those writers I always go back to and find new things to think about, however many times I've read his books.

I've never actually played Vampire--it's one I've been intrigued by but never had the time and opportunity to get into--but I always like reading games writing by people who know their stuff. And your PhD work sounds pretty damn fascinating. Gave you a follow. :)

Re. Sir Pterry: yes. Same. If I had to point to a single person who influenced and formed me as a writer and possible human being: that's the lad. My other half accuses me of running "Terry Pratchett's World of Darkness", which is... pretty fair, actually.
