8> Welcome back to the world of the 2000s... but not. Also, really curious about what you guys think of PillowFort?

Other sites: I have a twitter that I rarely post in and it's gotten personal, that I'll most likely separate like my FB. I don't go on facebook.


My fandoms: Fate/ series (especially Fate/Gr--Grind Order), tea, Sailor Moon, luxury bathtub (yes, that was a thing on Tumblr), Devil May Cry, Persona, Grand Chase (more like Grand Cult), various JRPG, anime, Final Fantasy XIV, Fan Fiction, Reader-Insert is my guilty pleasure holy s--, witchcraft, Pagan and spirituality, self-care, roleplay shenanigans, inner work, and well, a mess really. (Check tags)


What kind of content I post: NSFW, Not many triggers (there's a limit on tags, I checked), rants that can be rated LJ for the 2000s (cause I have no clue what happened to LJ), rants about IJ and DJ going the route they did too... no one's safe, missing greatestjournal, what else... nostalgia about xanga and tumblr? Nostalgia posts about various topics, essentially, what few new fandoms I'm into nowadays, just someone still growing a realistic view of the world, uh... a mish-mosh?


About what not to do as an adult...


Access/commenting policies: If you want a safe place for you, that's on your journal. I'll play around with the access groups. If y'all want the whole shebang, let me know somehow? It's still a WIP.

I really like Pillowfort so far! It's like if tumblr and dreamwidth had a baby. Because it's very much still in its infancy. But all the good features of its parents are there, and it's growing!

That's good, I just sent in for the sign up and was curious. I hope it continues to grow. I'm interested in how they'll allow us to customize our stuff. I guess we have a new OTP now?

Pillowfort is pretty fun, though it is pretty slow due to traffic these days. I like having an account there.

I've got a Pillowfort account but haven't played with it much yet. I'm making my best go at making Dreamwidth work. But I'm not against Pillowfort - after all, I supported the kickstarter back when. ^_^

Ah, yeah I just handed in my donation. I can't wait until this Friday. It's very different, but I hope you get used to things here since it's like Livejournal before LJ went bonkers. It must have been a little more difficult to see pillowfort's potential back then. 8o

They had some really nice picks of interiors. There was even a sink fandom. Same, but I got a tea advent calendar so I gotta wait.

i came here because i saw sailor moon, JRPGs and anime and then IMMEDIATELY derailed my own train of thought when i saw you also love tea. what's your favourite tea... i'm a basic bitch so i'm happy with earl gray but I LOVE ALL TEA SO MUCH

I'm kind of like Sailor Jupiter with teas that have rose petals. I really like vanilla flavored teas too. Matcha is also pretty good if you're interested in Japanese teas. It's a powdery green tea that they mix up with a brush when it comes to Japanese tea ceremonies.

vanilla teas are so gorgeous! one of my favourite teas from my local place is a "strawberries and cream" blend, that's a basic black tea with actual pieces of vanilla and dried strawberries blended in with it. it's one of those teas that's perfect to drink with something sweet.

it's really good! the place I get mine does its own blend, but there's some places online that do something similar.

I delved into livejournal rp back in the day, is it still mostly group rp's, or there are independent roleplayers like on tumblr? I'm not sure how things have changed from LJrp to DWrp.

We still have games, though a lot of people have gone to playing PSLs with friends - the user base is aging and a lot of people who work full time don't have time to play in games and keep up with AC. The best place to check out what the landscape looks like is on enablemeplz's monthly post. You'll see there's several games being advertised, but lots of people seeking one-on-one play as well.
