My Fandoms: DC comics, I love Green Lantern books, but slide more to Batman books for Jason Todd and Stephanie Brown, bit of a JaySteph shipper. Currently stuck on a Teen Titans kick, specifically the latter half of the v3 run for Eddie Bloomberg, Kit Freeman, and Zachary Zattara, for whom there is no content.

What kind of content I post: Fanfiction is my main reason for entering fandom, lots of long fics and cannon divergent AU's, most of what I have so far is Jason Todd centric. Some comics meta too, when I find something worth commenting on. My fanart I'll probably keep on tumblr for now.

Access/Commenting Policies: Go wild. I don't mind chatting about comics, movies or whatever, even if it goes a little off topic, and it takes a hell of a lot to either offend or irritate me.

Anything Else?: Tumblr was almost devoid of Eddie Bloomberg stuff, so if there are any Kid Devil fans here, hit me up!

I LOVE STEPHANIE BROWN. I haven't read much of her since they brought her back post-New 52, but I loved her Batgirl run and everything before that (minus getting killed off smh). I've read a lot of the 80s Teen Titans run but basically none of the new stuff. Nice to meet you! :)

The new52 andbon stuff for Steph was mostly subpar tbh, but her Batgirl run was probably one of the most entertaining comics of all time. So glad to meet another Stephgirl fan!
Haven't read very much of the old titans myself though, but I heard they're pretty good.

I'm glad to meet another Steph fan!! I love the old Titans comics, but I'm biased towards that era because it's simultaneously campy and heavy (like, the omniscient narrator is still a thing but the stories can get pretty dark) and I love the art. What little I've read of New 52 Steph has disappointed me because I feel like they made her too dark and took away her fun side? (which is my biggest complaint about New 52 in general--not everyone has to be Batman!) and as far as I can tell her relationship with Cass isn't what it used to be, which makes me sad.

They also tried to make Steph some sort of super genius hacker, another thing they've done to everyone now that Oracle's gone, but they also made her a ditz at the same time? She and Cass barely even interacted and that was a huge let down in tec, but they at least referenced that she was Batgirl and Robin in another universe, so there was that.
I'm just biased to v3 Titans because it had a bunch of characters that have never really shown up in a big way anywhere else and likely never will. I'm currently binging a bunch of old comics so I'll definitely put 80's titans on my list. A good balance between campy and heavy is what makes or breaks a comic.

I heard about them seeing the alternate universe where they get to be Batgirl! Hopefully they'll get to have a solid relationship in the future, and hopefully Steph gets to be fun again someday. I miss the good old days when she wasn't a hacker but was taking Oracle's CS course. I hope you have fun reading all your comics :)

Hopefully, even if it takes a while, they'll meet up again and Steph can be Steph. She isn't even mentioned in the solicitations so far, but she'll be out of limbo eventually, and her fans will be around.

We'll always be around! Ugh, do you remember that time people mailed waffles to Dan Didio to support her making a comeback and he claimed he didn't get enough waffles in the mail to justify it?? why is DC so mean to their fans???

I remember the waffles, think maybe Didio was making a joke there, but he hasn't made a secret that he doesn't like legacy characters, like at all, just look at how many titans have been killed off in the last few months. He wants one Batman and one Batgirl and one Flash, etc. That's more a Marvel type thing than DC, which has always had legacies, maybe he'll go edit for them and Geoff will come back to us.

Yes hopefully they'll trade off. That would be great.

Oh well, Johns is helming the shows at least, and Stephs in Young Justice, maybe she'll show up in others too.
