Hi everyone! I'm not new to Dreamwidth, I've had an account for a while now, but with Tumblr's policy change I'm planning on putting more effort into Dreamwidth and less into Tumblr. My account here is pretty much all public, so you can get a good idea of what I post here by looking through my archive.

What kind of content I post:

I haven't been posting a lot lately, because I got distracted by Pillowfort and then got a new job, but you can expect regular personal journal stuff as well as updates about my current knitting project, the occasional cat picture, babbling about books and the occasional actual book review.

My fandoms and interests:

Scifi and fantasy books! Especially but not exclusively YA (young adult). I have a longish list of favorite authors in my interests, but that's definitely not a full list, so feel free to ask me about your favorite books to find out if we have stuff in common. I'm particularly interested in books with disabled characters, mentally ill characters, and books that talk about trauma/PTSD. Recently occupying a lot of my brain: Ann Leckie's Imperial Radch trilogy, Martha Wells' Murderbot Diaries, Garth Nix's Abhorsen series.

My current reading project is I'm trying to get back into Andrew Vachss' books. I read all of the Burke series about 10 years ago, and I want to revisit it and also read some of his newer books, but library holds have been getting in my way lol.

I'm sort of a lapsed fan of a lot of the big scifi TV shows-- Doctor Who, most of the Star Treks, Babylon 5, Stargate-- and I enjoy reading fic and meta for them even though I haven't kept up with them or watched them recently. Other "lapsed fandoms" include Steven Universe, MCU, Harry Potter and Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries.

The only other fandom I'm really in currently is WWE, so expect some babbling about wrestling too.
